Best sleep in 20 years.
I need help with my dry mouth and throat. Since using CPAP, I also sneeze a lot. CPAP has improved my life. I do sleep better and have a good therapist. We will work together to get the kinks out.

I have been a snorer for years and years, and I thought it was a normal condition, especially as one got older. Two years ago, my doctor recommended a nasal spray which was supposed to relieve my nasal congestion. This was not too successful. Then, we tried a different nasal spray, which was also not successful.
I never had a blood pressure problem until recently when my doctor noticed that my pressure was fluctuating. He was certain that I was suffering from sleep apnea because of my low energy levels, daytime fatigue and sudden increase in blood pressure.
An oximetry test proved that I was not getting enough oxygen during sleep because my airway obstructs and prevents air from going into my lungs. My doctor explained that lack of oxygen during sleep could damage my heart.
To be sure I didn’t have a lung problem, I was sent for a Pulmunary Lung Function test and the results were normal. After that, he suggested a trial of CPAP. Initially, I was terrified of the idea of wearing a mask nightly.
I entered the office of Clinical Sleep Solutions with fear. However, as the apparatus was shown to me and its use explained to me in a very professional manner, it allayed all my fears. Surprisingly, after several nights, I quickly adjusted to the mask and the pressure. Two months ago, I began at a pressure of 6cmH2O, but I now feel very comfortable at a pressure of 12 cmH2O.
The change in my sleep pattern is quite incredible. Besides the fact that I no longer snore, I feel more refreshed and more energetic, after a peaceful sleep.
Empathy and understanding is genuine. The staff use the machines! The people at CSS treat you with the right combination of support and information without being intrusive or “selling” anything.
This is just a customer comment on you Burnaby location! First I have appreciated the Clinic Sleep Solutions "Sleepless in Vancouver" The reminders & education portions are great. The monthly calls to see how I am doing are reassuring even if I do not call you back. This month I had an issue with a rash from my face mask and on dropping by the office Cox came up with a possible solution. Great customer service and follow up.

On April 3, 2003, Dr. Ayas at the UBC Sleep Disorder Clinic prescribed a Nasal CPAP for my Sleep Apnea. I referred to the list of companies (necessary equipment) that were recommended by the UBC Hospital.
The first company I called and left my name and number with the receptionist. They failed to return my call. I called them a second time; spoke to the receptionist. They did not call me.
The second company I called (Sleep Tech Home Care Services) and was able to make an appointment here in Vancouver approximately one week later, I tried their machine and mask(s) and was convinced by April 29, 2003 that I would never be able to tolerate a mask. These people were very friendly and explained that they were unable to meet my mask requirements. The clinic phoned me, realizing that I was not progressing with the recommended treatment. I specifically asked if they knew of a company that operated in Vancouver and had local service. I was given the name of Clinical Sleep Solutions, Inc at 103-805 West Broadway, Vancouver B.C.
I was given an appointment within 24 hours at which time I met Cox Tan-Ngo. I have found Cox to be very knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating. In the past six months there have been many changes in equipment (masks and machine) and he has made the changes on one day service each time.
This company has offered me number one service and I strongly recommend that they be placed on the UBC list of companies for future use of other sleep disorder patients. I’ve only dealt with you recently. I was extremely impressed with your expertise and the fantastic customer service you provided me. As a customer, I thank-you very much.
